Re: FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25th, 2013
Goodness but you all have been busy this morning! I don't have time to respond to each of you - drat. We're leaving for Alamosa in the morning to visit DSD2 and family, and then Sunday when we get back we'll have DBIL/DSIL plus DS1 and family here right when we walk in the door, so I need to cut a swath through the upstairs to make room. We're also going to hang some pictures (yay!) and unload more boxes.
I have a question - what does one do with the flower gardens after the frost has hit? The flower beds here are all perennials, except for the one right off the dining room window, which contains all annuals. I assume I can clean out the annuals, and leave the perennials? Thanks for any info you might have.
Chriss - yay for the new car! Enjoy.
Tina - waiting to hear the good news.
At that, I'd better run. I'm getting 'the look' from DH.
Have a wonderful day! xoxo Sharona

Teresa - I looked at the flower link. If you look on the left side there is a ruler, a little hard to see, looks like some flowers are about 2". I stay very busy down here. Fishing with DH, beading and quilting with Velda and other ladies. Happy hour every day at someone's place, can't miss that!! LOL
Cindyg and Sue - I'm getting rested up to BOING, BOING, BOING by next Thursday when DSIL and I hit Houston. Hope to see you on Friday. Cindyg, I will PM you my cell #. Hope I can have lunch with ya'll.
Hope all goes well on the baby delivery.
Velda - It's 77 degrees already. Hurry and get here, so you can warm up!
Chriss - I have an old Subaru Outback that I refuse to get rid of. I love that car. Don't use it much since it's in Colorado and I'm not.
Lucie - Hope your son does well as a Realtor. Been there/done that for many years. I enjoyed what I called, "Solving the Real Estate Puzzle" with my clients.
Dolores - 50 years coming up! Congrat's!! Bet the quilt will be beautiful.
Don't remember who said they were going fishing today, but Tight Lines to you. It's our good luck saying to fishing people. If the line is tight, you must have a fish!
Friends here at Ransom Rd RV Park are great. Example: last week our good 'fishin' friends were out in their boat. The weather was starting to look like rain off in the distance. They received a call from another good friend, who is still in New Hampshire, she wanted to know if they were on the water and if so, get off, there was a tornado warning out. Fishing ended, rained but no tornado. Guess she has an app for bad weather and left Aransas Pass on the list.

Re: FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25th, 2013
hello......
My DD! sent me a recite for pumpkin cocoa.....It's very good. Just add some pumpkin & spices to your cocoa.
I walked for 30mins. Must try to do this each day. The weather is always good there.
My quilt is already for TV sewing tonight. I'm going to whip up a a pillow for my Grands. I found some fabric where they have to look for shapes. On the back I found some Girl Scout Thin Mints fabric. Gramma's favorite cookie.
BBL.....Kathy

My daughter, Emily calls Sight and Sound, "Broadway for the Bible."
I've had a pretty good so far today but I haven't gotten into the sewing room at all
I switched from New Balance to Saucany, my last New Balance did not have the support and padding I need for my Neuromas. I have worn New Balance for the last 15-20 years! So I'll try these and see how they are.
