Sharona - Old Arthur visits me, too. I've gotten so I hate stairs. The steps going up into the 5th wheel and the steps going up into the bedroom and bathroom are the only things I don't like about camping. I wish I could remember the layout of your house. Two of my friends have sunrooms and I always tell them that the sunroom would be my sewing hole. There is so much light. I'd have to keep all my fabric closed up so it wouldn't fade but that's OK.

Chickie - There are no poisonous plants in the back yard. I think she ate something because she smelled when I let her in on Wed. night. I'm thinking they killed something a few days ago and she decided to eat it that night and it made her sick. I hope that's all it was. She didn't poop during the night so I'm hoping she's OK now. About my enthusiasm - you will never understand it until you've come to the Houston Int'l. Quilt Festival. Ask Maryz or Quiltmom (Sherrie) and everyone else who has come to Houston. Seriously, I would encourage you to make plans to attend one of these years. You would not regret it a bit. Your pocketbook and/or credit cards might revolt - LOL.

Maryz - yep, tomorrow will be a practice run on a very small scale. We're not going to Tomball but to that shop close to my house. Then we're going to Spring Creek BBQ for one of their huge salads - YUM. Well, my kitchen wasn't a brown lake but it was spotted with little ponds - some were already dried - YUK. I wet them down with Clorox Cleanup to soften them. Then we mopped, changed the water and mopped again. There was even poop on the fridge. Fun fun fun. It's a good thing we put the baby gates up so they are confined to the kitchen where there is no carpet or rugs.

Tina - those Apple Streusel Muffins sure sound good. I'm also trying to figure out Sharona's house and a pocket door. I guess we're all nosy - LOL LOL. I watch too much HGTV. We'll have to go to her house with Maryz.

NOW HEAR THIS. MYMY GOT OUT OF BED. HE MIGHT EVEN BE TAKING A SHOWER AS WE SPEAK. H e had a very bad nite, but today is good. Thank you everyone for all of your continued prayers and positive energy, it's working.
I am on a quick break so I will catch up with everyone later tonite.
Lois I truly thank you for your help with the quilt contact for Shannon. Today are calling hours and tomorrow the funeral. Wisconsin is so far away. When she needs it the most it will be there

Quick drive by still at work. DFD over her drama for now. Had to have case worker come over to talk yesterday. The simplest things upset her. She had vacation at respite and now has to follow routine and rules again at home:) Wanted to move to respites home LOL Me toooooo if all is fun and freee of rules:) DH andI laughed most of night over it. I sang solo at Nursing home (man love them lil oldies:)) DH has rash PRAY not shingles. DD had them few months back and he has been stressed with learning new comp system at work again.

Uglies when I get home so sewing can happen saturday while DH is hunting ))

Good afternoon all,
It has been a pretty day here but it looks like we could get some showers now. At least they will be rain showers and not snow.

I need to go down in the basement and pick out some fabrics for tomorrows class. I have my ingredients ready for my dish to bring - will cook that overnight in the crockpot, and I need to remember to change my needle and my rotary blade. The pattern is paper pieced.

I got some fleece today to make some simple receiving blankets for baby girl. I can't believe we're going to have a baby here soon.

Sharona - I love pocket doors. If I could build my dream house it would have radiant floor heat, pocket doors and a stained glass window!

Maryz - Wow, leaving a week early. I'm glad you guys will be able to get away and have some fun by the ocean before winter is here.

Okay, I better hustle my bustle and run my vacuum while David is out in the barn. Have a great weekend everyone!

Good late afternoon!

It has been a busy day around here so far and still busy yet to be! We attended the funeral of a Ward member this morning and then went with Sarah to Lowe's to get a few things and then to pick up her chicken. Drive into the park to a refrigerator truck and he puts the chicken in the trunk for you - sounds shady, but fun! LOL Next week I go and get the sausage and bacon. We pre-order from this company - really great prices and then they bring it to a local park for pick up. The chicken breasts were 1.60 a pound - boneless and skinless. I think that we got the bacon for 2.00 a pound - thick sliced.

Later this afternoon we are off to Matt's for dinner - it is his BD tomorrow - so we are having a family dinner there and then cake and ice cream tonight. The boys will go and get Grandpa and bring him over for the event. It is Matt's 35th BD - so he tells me that he can be President now! When did he get that old - I am not! LOL

Most of the bulbs that I ordered are here and Sarah and I will plant them tomorrow morning and then get the lights up on our houses for Christmas - I know that it is way early, but I don't want anyone on ladders after the snow falls and it is falling early around these parts.

I did get some sewing done yesterday - just need to catch up with all the projects staring me and get them DONE!!!

Sharona, Ohhhhhhhhhh I seeeeeeeeee ) I have 2 stairs that go down into the laundry/utility and den rooms and when my knee and back are hurting to much I refuse to go down in there..........which sometimes is nice cause it means no laundry ;o)
Maryz, I think Scottie will be the same size or a hair bigger then Duncan ) it's a good size. I finished his bath then cleaned the bathroom then gave me one LOL but he's all de-pooped and looks like black velvet, feels like silk though ) He's crashed next to me right now. Oh gosh I'm tired and still need to dust.
I have sad news, my Aunt is now on a drip of morphin and hasn't been able to talk today. So hard to let her go so she can be at peace even though I know it's better for her. I do pray God takes her quick so she doesn't suffer anymore. Sorry crying to bad to cont.

Well Myles was awake long enough for the nurses to help give him a shower, sit up a few minutes, and then right back to curled up with his. Syracuse university blanket. He woke up twice while we were there. We were more there so she'll had someone to talk to. I asked her if she wanted any bedding from home and she said no the white hospital stuff was fine. They did find from the ct late last nite that Mymy has in addition to everything else something called stricture narrowing of the distal ileum. Not sure what that is or what is going to happen yet I just know the steroids will start tomorrow because they will take care of the. Nodes in the intestines.
