Good Morning Everyone,
Today is Saturday and Im up and doing nothing at the moment but drinking coffee and watching the news and trying to decide what I will do first.
Yesterday was a good day with my DD and the GKids everything was good at the Gyno office and now that's done for another year.
I have some wash that need to be done will start that in a little while.
Cindy G that owl pattern was in Quiltmaker July/August 2013.
Well I hope Everyone Has A Great Day.
Prayers Go Out To All in need.

Good morning Lois and those that follow
This morning we are going to our niece's house. Hubby is going to visit with his sister while I take his 2 great nieces school shopping. This is the trip that got postponed from last weekend. Then we will come home and do a few things and then go to the fair. Can't wait to see if I won anything. Busy day today. I got the confirmation information for the quilt retreat that I am going to in November. I ended up with a $50 credit. I don't know how. I have to figure out my projects to take with me. There are no classes just sewing at this retreat. Have a great day

Good Morning,,,A quilt retreat is on my bucket list. Today we have a 5 pm wedding and 6pm reception,. my nephew is getting married,,,,they already got their quilt so a card and gift is what they will get. I haven't done any sewing went to DDs last night and watches the kids play ball in the front yard. Ken went across the street to help the neighbor fix his computer and I sat and chatted with his wife. came home and just didn't feel like sewing again. I need to break out of this funk and get these quilts done
My Dbil called (the one who had the stroke) he wants to can veggies. He wants me to teach him as my sis has no interest, So I went to the basement to sort jars. (I have a lot of jars) I have a waterbath canner but he is buying a pressure canner. we will go to the organic farm to get veggies to can as neither one of us put in that big a garden, I usually dry all my stuff and still will but I hate to discourage him as he has lost a lot of ability and needs to do things,,,so another project in the making, 'i have never used a pressure canner so any tips would be helpful
Monday is back to the Dr for the showdown on the meds. Ken also has an isuue with one of his meds too. We like this dr but cannot handle the drugs.
well I need to get coffee and feed the kitty. S[eaking of...so far we still have the 4 babies and the Momma. Resucue geoups are no help as they either don't have the traps to use or they want money or they just are too busy, Not sure what we will do...but we cannot let cats keep multiplying here and you know they will.
well have a good weekend,,,TTL XXXOOO

The people that were hosting church tomorrow are sick, my hubby said we would do it.... so it's clean the house up day again today.
I laid out three trees last night, orange, purple and a blue and yellow one. I was hoping to get them sewn together today. We will see!
Have a great day,
Vicky

Good morning..
Suzette, have fun clothes shopping... I looked up the stores we went to on the internet, lots have coupons online that you can print.
Judi, have a fun time canning.. glad DBIL is interested in doing things and wants to learn..
Maryz.. I missed it.. where are you going on your trip.. I know you finished the Santa quilt, the log cabins sound like fun... wish I had more time to try more things.... it will happen.
Karlene, funny, you were 'to the rhythm of the falling rain' I read on face book that now that someone was "looking for my lost shaker of salt" funny how song titles are known through the generations.. we were watching Grease the other night and Marilyn was amazed that I knew ALL the songs....hope MIL does well..you could make her a tossed 9 patch.. quick and simple.
O'Dorothy, what a great compliment to you and Jim.. your kids and grands WANT to come see you and stay with you... how neat is that...
Scrappy Pat.. wow, a new bedroom and a re-vamped sewing room.. how cool... do you have much further to go in the sewing room? what a great rainy day project.
Jana, how was the birthday... Marilyn loves Olive Garden, I should have had her go with you... you wouldn't have even noticed one extra person in your big group.
Tina.. that is one precious baby.
Velda, we tried vinegar and water for the shower head.. we do use it on the windows... our water is just awfully hard.. the eventual plan is to move the shower to where the tub is now and remove the shower.. we don't use the tub and never have.. but we can make more storage out of the existing shower area.. glad Willy got his bath, and you are getting yoru crappie supper
Izzy, glad your FIL came home so you all could enjoy his b-day.
Vicky.. great thing about hosting church is you don't have to travel... your trees will be great.
I am going to finish my Christmas swap blocks today and start on my calendar blocks... bet I get a lot done..
I hope you all have the best day ever.
Chriss

Good morning all. I read up on all the happenings. Got your back in prayer for mammagrams, illnesses, and rest.
Grammie pressure cooker not so bad. READ the lil book in it first. Follow the set up of cleaning and checking. I put the rubber ring inside the pot while its on stove warming water; just long enough to get ring warm then dry it and put back in lid. If your doing beans once you have jars in canner: place them so they dont touch because they will jiggle some and they can bust if banging against each other:)It will only be like lil bitty space between each:) They give really good instructions in the mannual for different types of vegies. Just dont move it at end till its reset;cooled down:))
Never got in sewing room yesterday but plan on it today:)) Rain like crazy yesterday evening.
Sew sew lil ladies and God Bless

Good Morning!
I just typed a whole thing from yesterday's posts and accidentally deleted it! Grrr.... But I did read everything!
TINA - your gr-niece's photo was so cute! I thought it was an Anne Gedddes photograph at first!
LOIS - your owl wallhanging is really cute!
SUZ - have fun school shopping! And I've got my fingers crossed for you at the fair!! Can't wait to hear! And $50 refund? Lucky you! Maybe you can buy a NEW project to take with you to your retreat . . .
JUDI - you know many doctors get a little kickback from drug companies. Not saying yours is, but it's a good thought for anyone to keep in mind when it seems a physician seems to prescribe a lot of meds. I wish I had a couple of your kittens!
VICKY - I hope, since it was your DH that spoke up and offered your home, that you've got him on the business end of the mop today!! I'm anxious to see your trees finished.
CHRISS - have you tried CLR for hard water problems? It's a product they CLAIM fights the problems you are having. Using the baggie technique on the shower head. I wish you had more sewing time, but way back when I was your age (don't you hate hearing that phrase?) I was still working, busier with family, and had little time for sewing. So don't worry - your retirement will come all too soon! Don't wish your life away.
IZZY - I've never used a pressure cooker. Scared to death of them!
PAT - I love organizing things! Wish I was there helping you in your sewing room!
Today is one last load of wash, a stop at Costco, a run to the grocery store, some food prep and last minute packing of our trailer. We don't leave until Monday, but we have to be gone all day tomorrow so today is packing day! We'll be near Butte, Montana if anyone needs me. We're traveling with my brother and SIL and my sister and BIL from Colorado will meet us there. We all have ATV's and will spend a week running mountain trails. I doubt we'll have internet but you never know . . . .
have a sew-per day!

Ladies who making bags, totes, and can place on ebay are so lucky..
I have gone through the handmade section, they are to die for...
Many have sold and good price, and receive excellent reviews.
Once I understand and gone through all lingo, which will take this old brain lots of time/help, Hello Ebay bags.
I noticed Wpg has a Huge Xmas Craft trade show, November 21-24, a lowest cost table $600.00, it is a juried show. You can see this old horse trying to race at the opportunity.
