Good morning Pals
Life has been busy last last few days. Wednesday I needed to find the bed in the middle room to get to the bed underneath. Success and now I have all that storage space!!!! Thursday was a FULL day/night in town. I had a Dr.s appt and Rob needed to go to the workmanscomp doctor as he took a fall and twisted his ankle. Sprained it pretty good. Dr said no work until Tuesday. Friday met with many hours of trying to fix the washing machine after getting the long tube you stick in a can of Air got stuck. If he had known it was that that got stuck he would never have taken it apart. Now he can't get it back together. I feel so bad as I forgot to check the pockets before I did his work clothes.
Today I will be squaring up 64 10.25" Log Cabin blocks and working on cutting the strips for sis's quilt. I have no clue why I am dragging my feet.
It has been nonstop overcast with showers trying but not succeeding. That is enough to effect people who don't get to see rain very often.
I changed the Lotto block as many did not have the flowers in there stash. Hope this one is alot better. Don't forget you have Secret Pals and Secret Santa coming up and this is a great way to win a whole quilt full of blocks for her.
Hope you all have GREAT Weekend plans!!! HUGE HUGS to you ALL!!!!

Good morning Teresa and those that follow.
I am not sure how much sewing will get done today. This morning we are going to a tractor show. They always have a great lea market. On the way home we will stop at a quilt shop. You never know what I will find there. I heard on the news yesterday evening that they saw on security cameras the person that threw the paint on the Lincoln Memorial. They did get it cleaned up and reopened the memorial yesterday evening. I am hoping when we get home to work on my Christmas Blocks for the swap. Have a wonderful day. I will check back later today.

good Morning Everyone
I am up early because today is the Big Day
We are having Patricks graduation party at
our house . He graduated from high school
and will be going to TCNJ for their nursing
program.
we will be having about 50 people at the party.
I did do some baking and some of my daughters inlaws
also did some baking but the food is being catered
by our favorite Italian restaurant.
It should be a fun day.
the weather is supposed to be wonderful.
Have a wonderful day everyone

Good morning woke up to heavy fog and rain; Not ky weather at the least for July. cool again so opened windows for a while:) Couldnt finish my 21 christmas block ran out of 2 fabrics so off to store I will have to go to get more. What a shame huh LOL:) Won't be today unless rain stops no fun unloading w/c and gettind DD in and out of car. She can walk but that is even slower than unloading w/c we would be drenched even with umbrells LOL
DH left for mens meeting at Lil Cafe up the street. The men from church meet last Saturday every month for bfast and bible study. Its good for them. We have several gone on mens retreat in Nashville a big conference there with preachers and music. DH had planned to go but with back in shape it is didn't think he could take the drive and a motel bed.
I pulled out fabric to make my owls for door hanging for school. I plan to make them bright and colorful: rainbow owls so to speak: one is purple{of course my fav color} one is turquois and One is orangish brown. Once cut out and laid on backing will take pic:)
Well going upstairs to get more coffee and sit on porch and read sunday school lesson while it rains.
Have grt day everyone:)))

Teresa:
Hope DH is doing better each day. So sorry you had to make a change in the lotto block. I know I was one of those complainers, so sorry. But as usual, you nailed it! The change to the twin sisterâs block is a delightful block and another one of those blocks that amaze me when they get put together. It should be very fun. I loved the log cabin block too, so please keep that one on deck.
Suzette:
Hope you find some great things at the flea market and quilt shop. I know you will!!! It sure is terrible that the vandals did the mess to the Lincoln memorial. Good things they have the camera to go back and view.
Dolores:
Hope you party goes well. I did a catered party years back for our kids, also. It really does take the stress out of the day. Having it catered makes it so much easier to visit with your guests.
I did not get on yesterday, but I did read the posts. I especially enjoyed the pictures shared by Jules. What a beautiful family!! Hope the weekend goes very well for you.
So many of you are busy with quilts and projects. Too many to try to comment on all of them. It is so much fun to read and enjoy your progress. I always love it when you post pictures. It gives the rest of us the inspiration we need.
Summertime is slow for my sewing. Usually I am outside doing things unless it is rainy or too hot to be outdoors. Those are the days, when I look for something crafty to do. Thatâs why the monthly lotto is fun. Always a new block to look forward to learning. Very challenging.
Itâs hard to believe we are nearing the end of the month already. The summer is slipping away very quickly.
Well, have a great weekend! For all of you working girls, hope you enjoy some well deserved âtime offâ. Most of all, just have fun.

Good morning,,,we had rain over night. still a little grey out there, Today we will celebrate graduations of my 2 oldest granddaughters, big party at a hall with 200 guests, it is a joint party, also catered, Hope no more rain as the hall is in a park like setting and there are 40 picnic tables out side too. It will be good to see family and friends,
Sewing room will be put on hiatus for a couple of days,,,I will have the 3 little ones for sunday monday and tues while there parents go away (again) for a few daas sys, This will be the last sleep over for awhile. They have vacation plans for nAugust and School in Sept. We are headed out for Labor Day week for a camp out in Mackinac City,Mi. It is beautiful up there and we try to get a week each year, If you are interested in the area you can see beautiful pictures at Pure Michigan .com. I know Detroit has been getting a lot of bad press but the state is beautiful. It is home.
I think I will clean up the sewing room and let the quilt rest for a few days, I was so discouraged last night, But know this to shall pass. Mistakes happen. I also realized I ran out of the white Kona needed for the border. So a trip to Joanns later in the week will be in order.
Hope you all have a great weekend,,,Happy graduation to your grandson, Dolores. Have a great party. Vicky and Miriam thanks for the encouraging words last night. billizzy znd teresa happy quilting. Suzette relax. So glad to see MR Linciln is better,

Good Morning!
TERESA - glad you found your bed(s). sounds like lots going on at your house. Sorry you had to change your lotto block. Hope Rob's ankle heals quickly.
SUZ - so happy Mr. Lincoln is smiling again. DH and I were thinking that there must be security cameras someplace. Personally, I think there should be an extra sentence tacked on for desecrating a national treasure besides the usual punishment for vandalism. Have fun at the tractor show!
JUDI - Happy graduation party!! We'll hope for no rain. oooh, another campping trip! Read my type - No New Heart Attacks!
IZZY - sitting on your porch with coffee, listening to the rain on the roof sounds ideal!
MARY Q - work!! and what you have to look forward to when you get home is mowing??? Girl, you need more fabric in your life!
VICKY - didn't you just have church at your house on your birthday? Not fair - having to clean twice in one month! lol! Hope you and Emily enjoy your reunion.
DELORES - happy graduation to Patrick!! How is he doing these days. A great career move into nursing, too.
VELDA - It's hard to maintain much of a stash when living in an RV! We've lived in our RV for up to 4 months at a time, and it's tough, but I usually have at least one tote of fabric under the bed and occasionally another box down in the storage bins. I store my cutting mat and long ruler under the mattress. it's always a dance trying to fit it all in - but I do it! And I put a shelf under the table resting on the seats next to the wall where I put my "in progress" projects when I need to clear off the table. Where there's a will there's a way!
Today we are going to DH's retiree BBQ at a fellow retiree's lake-front home. They host it every year for their "clique". Usually about 15 to 20 folks are there. I'm taking BBQ'd meatballs in my crockpot. Should be perfect weather for it. 79* and mostly sunny. I hope I remember my sunblock!
Later!
