Good morning! We awoke to rain here, but it soon stopped. At least I won’t have to water today again! We are going for 101 degrees today with the heat index at 110! It will be sauna-like out there—a good day to stay in and sew!!! We received two inches of rain yesterday, and the pastures already show green color where they were brown before the rain. Some areas south of us about 20-30 miles are getting hammered with rain and received 6” yesterday! It’s raining hard there again today. We would be happy to share some of it…

DH should be home any time, and we have lightning in the area, so I am going to unplug for awhile.

Also awoke to the Royal Baby Watch news of the Royal Labour. Hope Kate has an easy time of it! Wouldn’t a bonny little princess be sweet!!!

Have a great day, All!

We are having the strangest rain...it is coming straight down in bucketfulls and it just started like this no sprinkles to start it.
Water pouring from the sky I wonder if Caleb has the whole for his sunroof covered? He took it out and had plastic over it but it's been so hot I don't think he had it covered again. He is working or was working on a roof today. I hope they got that covered too or the people inside are getting wet!

2 borders-done! Back to work.

Thanks Chris and Mary,

My daughter already called me and said they taking it slow because her instructer isn't there. But she is excited. Her goal is to work for homeland security.
I got everything done and work now on the quilt. I will get the quilt done by Friday.
Have a great day

Gabriele

lol, Maryz this is my second one. you would think I would have learned my lesson on the first one. I am actually enjoying the process on this one because I understand the construction this time.

I just got in from work and sent DH to get gas in my car and p/u something to eat. When he gets back I am going to eat then sew for a little while to relax.
