Good Afternoon All......

I'm just coming out of my tired grumpy mood...And what did it!! El!!
I forced myself to make a set of 4 flying geese...I mean forced! Using it for the 1st time it was so different from what my quilting brain wanted to do. BUT I now have 4 perfect geese. I'd not hesitate to buy the other size incase i SHOULD NEED IT. Thanks El!!!

It is starting to cloud up here & the leaves are moving a bit. There's been no breeze all week. I'm so ready for the change in temp.

Good evening,
We had the cool front come through last evening and had a night and morning of rain - it felt wonderful.

I've finished up a couple donation quilts and have been sewing some strip sets together today. It has been nice to be home. I was able to get up early and start sewing while David was still sleeping, and finally took a break and got out of my pj's around 11:30am.

Getting ready to make bacon and eggs for dinner. Have a great weekend.

Good Evening Everyone,

Well I finally had time to finish my sewing room no sewing for me I sat and watched the Good Witch marathon I have cedar cove recording for tomorrow .

I just got my new McCall's magazine and they have some cute stuff in there.

We had a front come through with thunder and a pocket of heavy rain and it looks like there will be another one soon.

I miss the GKids they were a lot of fun and this week went very Quick they live an hour and fifteen minutes away so we don't see them that often they get busy and we also get busy.

Well I Hope Everyone continues to have a good day.

Good evening! I had a nice visit with Mom today. She was working on some aprons and needed some thread. I brought home scraps and found I have the two spools she needs. I’ll take them back to town tomorrow or Monday. She had a couple of other aprons to make while waiting on me.

I’m looking for rain! It’s clouded up twice today only to have the sun come back out. Mom said it was raining in town—a good shower. Sigh! The sun was shining out here. It’s dark now, and I can hear thunder. The weather map shows rain a couple of miles north. Maybe, just maybe… I’ll still be surprised if we actually get some rain.

Jana—it’s nice when you both have hobbies, so one can’t complain about the expenses of the other!!!

Chriss—now you are hearing my flowers gasping. I hate to go out and water when there is rain so near. If it doesn’t rain tonight, for sure they will get a soaking by me early tomorrow morning! I have a sinking feeling the showers will skirt around us yet once again. (Sigh!) Love the boa idea for the TV! We had pulled pork at our wedding.

Irish—I keep telling my DH not to get heat stroke and die while working out in it, too, that I’m going to give away all his precious rentals, because I hate them and no one in their right mind would buy them!

Dolores—it’s great to hear from you!!! I’m sure it seemed like it took forever to get the effects of the salt water out of your yard. Did you have to bring in new soil? We can survive!!! I’m looking forward to your photos!

Sherry—“welcome back!” I think when the grands are here and commandeer the computers and tvs, we just go into a void. Those kids’ programs are so inane. At least they aren’t vulgar, although some of the sassy attitudes and behavior aren’t very good. The animation of the cartoons is not what it used to be with Disney or Looney Tunes, either! Congratulation to your son on the Okinawa base!

Suzette—sounds like you snagged a good haul at the sale!!!

Well, DH is back, so need to see what he will be needing… Have a great evening!
