Good morning!
It is very overcast here - rained last night and will rain today - we need it - so all is good!
I went to Costco last night - they are almost out of my Caspar Hot Dogs - it was a seasonal trial - so I picked up 5 more packages and put them in the freezer - should last through winter - LOL Then stopped at Lowe's to get some flowers - annuals for a front bed - nope they are almost out of them too! Found a couple of lonely pots and they will do for some color in the yard. I am still used to California - you could go at any time and get annuals to plant.
Sarah will be over sometime today and I have my hair appointment - double checked my planner - it is today!
Karlene - I wonder if that octogon shape is an old baptistry that was in the building and for some reason they took it out? Maybe it did fall in!
Well need to scoot - I need to clean it around here - we have a lawyer - friend of Matt's - family law - he will help us get all the ducks in a row so that we can bring DH's dad back here to live. Such a tangled mess of stuff to straighten out with the second wife -and getting all the assistance that FIL is intitled to.
Hugs
Jana

Good morning from warm, sunny, wonderful, SW. Pa....A purrrfect day and no rain, or at least not for an hour or so.......
Jim is off to finish the mowing (he started yesterday)...And I'm off for an afternoon of card playing...Sounds like a perfect day to me....We did a few uglies this morning and that's it until tomorrow.....
I had a call from Kathy, her ex father in law passed away yesterday...He had been ill for some time and in a nursing home..It's still a sad time for them....And then she texted me later to say, she had gotten her corn and was so excited....
Chriss and Chickie, we also get excited about corn and tomatoes..Nothing better, this time of year.....
Chriss, I have a friend who had Jim paint her bedroom red..She also wanted him to do all the trim white but he talked her out of it....He said it would break his heart to cover up all that oak...But, she does have all white accents and the room looks like it should be in a magazine.....Our room is a mauve color and my sewing room is a soft gold...We're not too daring.....Although you would love our bathroom when I do it with my Irish stuff....Everything is emerald green.....
Cindy, it will take awhile but the missing never goes away....I feel bad for Don...I remember when my friend in Florida husband passed away...He had been Jim's best friend and it took years before Jim would go south and still he just doesn't feel comfortable...
Kathy, welcome home....happy that your DD is well enough for you to leave her...Bet it's a good feeling being back in your own surroundings....
Oh well, it's time for me to hit the shower and then out the door.....
You all have a good day...............

Good morning
)
Well I was up and at em early this morning, watered all my flowers and trees out back before it felt like a blow torch.....good thing too because my lenses came in so we're going to Cruces to get them plus need to pick up a new pump for my pond, the other one started making a grinding noise about 4 weeks ago and they said the warranty didn't cover noise so we had to wait till it broke all the way.....I am so glad it did cause it wasn't peaceful anymore to be out there....couldn't even hear the waterfall over the grinding! Well you all have a wonderful day! Prayers for those in need.

Jana - the octagonal shape is only about 2 to 2.5' in diameter. It does have an outlet below it. It's a head-scratcher.
Oops, I'm yelling at the t.v. again - time to turn it off!

Chriss, just a hint about most quality paints...there may be a very, very slight difference between the color card and the actual paint because the color card is made from ink and the paint is not. However the paint is usually spot on in color tone/shade. Most of the time the reason the colors look different is because of the difference in lighting between the store and your home, office, etc., the way the shadows reflect in the room, and the paint picks up the reflection of the colors from your furniture, flooring, drapes/curtains etc.

Karlene, the weatherman keeps saying we're having a really good start to monsoon season but we haven't seen it here yet. DH was telling me on the way home as we crossed the Rio Grande that the gates were open for a very short time and that it had been 20 years since it was that bad. I told him, well if it was bad before then maybe we have a chance then of things going back to normal.....this drought is awful!
