Good morning everyone.
I am up early because our little furbaby has figured out how to get under our deck which in turn he could get out. So now until we get the lattice fixed I have to keep him on his leash. Well, this morning I took him out back and saw a fire on the neighbor's deck. I came in and woke hubby up and he went out and looked and walked over. Turned out 2 people were outside. At 3am! I am glad husband didn't knock on the door. Then I thought I would catch up on my programs we recorded and something is wrong and the DVR won't turn on. I keep hearing clicks every now and then but nothing. Well, I guess I will eat breakfast and get ready for work. Have a great day. I will check back later from work.

Well I am up also just couldn't sleep Im just glad we can come here when that happens I don't want to make to much noise there is someone still sleeping in this house.

Today I have some uglies to do so they will get done then it is to the sewing room to work in there always a lot of work on days off.

Good morning all!


As I figured I did not get to sew at all yesterday
I am getting in there this morning. I have to finish making the leaves and then glue them on. I will not get that all done today because I have to take my MIL to an appointment. But I should get a good bit of them done.

We had a real nice time at the picnic last night.

I have joined in the sew along and now I have to figure out colors. I don't want to buy anything for this quilt. I was going to make a bright and black quilt and I wonder if Sylvia's Wedding Sampler would look good done in brights/black background? Any thoughts on that?

Good morning everyone. Another gloomy weather day. I wish we could share some of this rain with places that need it.
I am back to work today after being home for 5 days on vacation.
Our daughter is starting to feel a bit better. This vertigo stuff is really scary. I do hope that she gets her hearing back.
Kafhyquilts, travel safely my friend.
Well Mo made it to Camp Geiger safe and sound. He arrived around mid nite. He did get to make a quick call to his Mom. Good thing this time is that he can call home at some point. We think it might be on the weekend, down side is at least last time we could count down until the days we would see him, this time there is no schedule. It could be a lot worse and I am not complaining and I know many of you have been through and are going through. The same thing.
Cousin Heather is trying so hard to get strong enough for the stem cell transplant. She is tough, but needs your prayers.
I am still in shock that WeeOne30, Randi Gustafson has passed to an angel. I plan on writing to Bruce and her family but not sure just what to say yet.

Mary - the neighbor was sitting out there with someone else. They weren't cooking. Who knows what they were doing. As far as our DVR goes, it is working. I decided to unplug it for about 60 seconds and then plugged it back in. It is working now.

Just a quick hello. Didn't get much sleep last night. DD has a early dr's apt for her ankle.

I'm not going home today. I'm waiting until tomorrow to see what the stomach surgeon says. If he say surgery & it's soon I'll stay.
I've been away from home for a month.

Good morning must have caught up on the sleep///woke at the normal time today (7ish) It is gloomy and rainyy here too....it rained so hard yesterday we have flooding everywhere,,,on our way home from the movies there are houses here that look like they are on islands....they have low yards and high water tables around here, since we live up on a hill out lower yard floods but it has been ok....our river is high though, I actually like it when it is higher,,,DH lamentd the lack of shore line we have lost over the years to erosion and I just say "More River"/

If the weather clears we may ride over to my sis (inground pool) and take the kids swimming, Dd has them in classes except for the little one. she will go in the lake like a fish but is scared of the pool. Boys love the pool/

If not I will do some uglies and sew...not a bad day. well Baby needs food and I need to strip the bed,,,,didn't do it yesterdasy so coffee first then I will check on you all later.XXXOOO

Good Morning All,

Just finished watering, drinking coffee now then to get dress and off the local Country Fabric Store about 10 miles or so, the lady there is going to show me how to embroidery those Brazilian type Roses can't think of the name at the moment. I have a book on Brazilian stitches but I am a visual learner so decided since she was willing to teach me 1 one 1 as long as I come to the store why not? So am going out before it gets to hot. Got my binding all made for my 2 small quilts & sew on now to whip it down. Not sure what I will do this afternoon, need to go thru fabric see what I can come up with for my Calendar month.

Good morning..

today after work I take my sister grocery shopping.. which is ok because I am needing a couple of things too... she mostly cooks frozen foods and rarely ventures into the produce section.. I need salad fixin's so she will go there today.

Judi, hope the doc appt went well.

Kathy, wow, to go through SF boxes will be a trip back in time... DD sure won't have clutter to deal with which can be so overwhelming.. she is blessed to have you in so many ways...

Maryq.. I'd send you my painting crew but they still have 6 rooms to do here...glad you are mastering your phone.. I would have no clue....

Karlene.. I have a lovely silver temporary crown.. they had to carterize my gums because they grew around the broken part of the tooth.. I think I will not put off the dentist and start going more often.. not sure when the last time I was there...sorry it's H&H it's very dry on this side of the mountains...

Chickie.. you sure are busy... but it's a fun busy.. it's good to be you.

Scrappy Pat.. is the medication temporary or ongoing.. can it be changed? we have tried everthing to get rid of critters.. we now have cats for the rodents and Jerry has been using boric acid for the ants.. inside he uses clorox clean up spray... he says it kills them instantly and cleans the floor/counter's.. win win...he also decided the ants were sent by the FBI since we have to have that background check to adopt.. the ants are the spies... he has many other theories, but you don't have that kind of time...lol

Izzy, your quilt is really pretty.. your mom will love it.

Sharon.. we were looking at pop up's but are now leaning towards a small pull behind, and if it's in bad shape we will gut it and remodel..hope you get a good price for yours.

Maryz.. and, by using Irish Spring in your camper it will have a fresh clean smell.. I love the smell of Irish Spring...will we get to see pictures of the completed quilt before they are on display?

Jana, with everyone on vacation are you in a kid free house? my goodness I bet it's quiet...
