Make a block for your favorite month.. once the blocks are swapped you can make them into a calendar or a sampler quilt.....this would be a great secret Santa gift.

limited to 12 but if there is enough interest to do a second set I will be happy to sort them....

now for the fine print..........

when you sign up it is an obligation....it's about a block a week... very doable...

BUT

if you are unable to complete this swap I will ask you to sit out on the next swap I host...Vinae and I are keeping track and communicating often regarding our swaps... because of mishaps in the past I am asking that you be a posting member on this forum for at least three months before signing up...

here are the rules.....

block size.... 12 1/2 inches unfinished....please don't square up your blocks.... you will only be making 12 blocks...

no glitter, but anything else goes...make this block your way...either use an existing block or applique pattern or make one up yourself, embelish it, make it simple or make it fancy... it's your call...

send blocks to me in a large ziplock baggie and include $6 postage (cash, no checks, no stamps)this will include your tracking....I have the envelopes needed to return your blocks to you...I also have room to store the blocks if you want to send them to me before the due date...but be sure they are sent in time to be in my mailbox on or before 10/1/13

With the Christmas Blocks due around that time and my Sister's quilt needing to cbe started from scratch I think I will be stretching it for the unexpected quilts that show up on my doorstep. Plus I really want to put the quilts swap blocks I have together one of these days (LOL). I am out for this one BUT sounds like FUN!!!
