This is an easy one--I'll do at least 4 blocks, maybe more once I get started!

Anxiously awaiting my patriotic donut blocks!

LOL Mary, hate it when that happens. I have some fat quarters I have had around for a few years that I might break down and use for this. Not sure yet.

Hi All,
Yes, I'm the same person (Sallyslim)signed up with a new email address. I had to close my previous email box because it was really bogged down with unwanted stuff and didn't know how to make the change with the Quilt in a Day account--so I started from scratch signing up this month.

Enjoying all your posts and the challenge each month.

Sally

Hello All -

*** WATCH, WATCH, WATCH THE PLACEMENT OF THE TWO 5" HALVES WHEN YOU SEW THEM TOGETHER. IT DOES MATTER WHEN YOU GO TO SEW YOUR WINNING BLOCKS TOGETHER.

Sally - Thanks for putting my mind at rest that I did send the winning Patriotic blocks to the right Pal :) :) :) Have FUN making these blocks.

Looking for one more piece I can cut 10 inches from and then will be ready to put these together. Will look later.

Every 4th of July our church sells hot dogs, etc during the parade so gotta get ready and get down there to help. BBL

Well, I gathered up all my fabric today and Wa Lah! I already had them washed and ready to go. I cut up each one into 10+ blocks ( a little wiggle room :) - as was suggested.)
Then off I went . . . before you know it, I had them all sewed.

I ended up with 10 blocks to send and 1 to save for my own future project, if I ever get to it. LOL I was so surprised how fast the block went. Really didn't plan on making so many blocks, but by the time you select a variety of fabrics, you have quite a stash before you know it. I could have saved a lot of money if I would have only chose 5 fabrics, but I wasn't quite sure how it was going to work out and I wanted to make sure I had enough.

I am ready to do another Christmas theme Lotto. Do you see that in
our future??????LOL

I will be sending them off next time I get into town to the post office.

Happy 4th to you all!!!
