Pat,
Prayers that all will go well. A positive attitude is so helpful. Know that there are many of us who have walked this path before you and continue the fight.
Shirley Mae,
Good news! Continued prayers that all will continue to go well Keep us posted as we continue to pray for all the needs listed.

Went to our local Relay for Life yesterday. A very nice turnout. Last night at the luminary ceremony, a sobering lap and the many, too many luminaries in memory and in honor of. Too many stories of multiple family members touched by cancer. In our family, I have lost my mother, sister, daughter and father-in-law as well as being a survivor myself and have another daughter who is also a survivor.

Lord help us find a cure for this horrible disease!!

My daughter needs prayers. She is involved with a person that is in and out of jail and estranged from her family. I have a brand new granddaughter that I am not allowed to see.

So many prayers needed for all our loved ones today. May God be with you and your friends and family today and always.

URGENT Prayers for the people in WASH DC. Shooting in WASH DC Navy Yard, shooter still at large, 4 shot that they know of, someone reported "multiple injuries and deaths" but no one would elaborate. They are only 1 1/2 miles from White House. Please pray for our country, our leaders, our police and military.

Prayers too for all the victims of the floods in COLO and the flooded areas branching out from that one. So many to rescue and no way to reach them except by helicopter. Scary times for so many.

May God be with all those in harms way today. May HE be at the side of all those trying to protect us from who knows what. May HE give us all the strength, the courage, and the strong faith and hope we need to just get thru the days sometimes. America, let's work together for the good of us all.

God bless you all and may HE provide for your needs today too.
LOve and Hugs to each and every one of you. Shirley Mae

URGENT prayer request.........My DD3 called me tonight, very upset. Her best friend's cousin's husband, Craig, went to hospital with what they thought was appendicitis. After running some tests, they have diagnosed him with 4th stage cancer of the intestines and it is already in his lungs and other places.

They will start treatments as soon as they can. He is very upset and doesn't have much hope. The dr told them attitude has a lot to do with healing from cancer. This family couldn't have children and finally adopted a little girl who is now 15. That scares Craig the most, leaving their child. She is the delight of his life, both their lives. DD3 knew this family so well since her friend stayed with them to finish last 2 yrs of high school. I have met them, very nice family.

Please keep all of them, especially Craig, in your prayers. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for this family and for all on here.

Sending up prayers tonight, too, for all the needs on this forum today and always. New babies, sick loved ones, healing for those who have fallen, and all those facing cancer or any other illness, those in the path of the floods, the military and first responders, and the leaders of our country that we may all find peace someday. May God be with you all today and always and bring you hope and peace and healing in both hearts and bodies.

God bless, love and hugs, Shirley Mae

Prayers for all in the path of the Colo Floods. Now they are heading to Nebraska. My sister wrote that they are headed to No Platte and Ogallala Nebr. Everyone is being forewarned to get livestock and possesions out quickly before it hits. Guess it is coming down the Platte River. Is anyone on here in the paths of these floods?

I saw pics on tv today of all the cleanup needed in Colo. Those poor people. Looks just as devastated as places hit by tornadoes or hurricanes. Sharona, are you doing ok? I have relatives in Denver area but guess they are ok except for some flooded basements. Heard some hwys are gone and can't get repaired until 2015. That is a very long long time from now.

Florence, prayers for your daughter and little baby too. May God watch over all of your family. God bless you dear friend. So sad that you can't see the baby. May God give you strength, hope, and courage in the days ahead.

Special prayers for all the ones facing cancer, treatment, and all the hardships of facing an unknown future for yourself or a loved one. Rod's skin cancer seems to be returning so we may be facing that situation again soon too. Dr apt Oct 1st.

Prayers for those with foot, leg, and back injuries. May you get the rest you need and the treatment that drs prescribe for healing.

Prayers for all on here that need them today and always. May God bless everyone with a good weekend, spent with family and/or friends, and filled with happy memories too.

Hugs and love dear friends. God is with you always. Shirley Mae

Its been a year since the split with my daughter. I know with the holidays coming up it will be difficult. The Lord works through the children so maybe this little one will help her find her way back to the family. Thanks for the continued prayers and my prayers with all of you.

Chris, thanks for passing along the info on Pat.

Pat, we are all here praying for you and sending you our love and hugs across the miles. May you be surrounded with the support of many angels to guide and protect you, to offer hope, comfort and peace as you face the days ahead. May God be always at your side to walk with you. And when the walk becomes too rough to walk any more, may He carry you until you can again walk alone, strong and full of courage and hope for the future.

Sending love, lots of hugs, and many prayers for now and always. God bless you and your family in the face of your troubles. Shirley Mae
