Hi, No one has posted their prayer requests for a few days but I know many of you are hurting in your personal lives. I read about some of you in sew-ins but not everyone reads that.

If you are in need of prayer, please remember to come here and post your need. You don't have to give details, just ask, knowing we will put forth our prayers and hugs and hope for healing and a better tomorrow.

And please, when you can, post a short update so we know you are ok. We care so very much for each and every one of you on this forum. You are family in so many ways. We send hugs and hope and encouragement, along with the prayers, across the miles. NO matter your needs, we are here for you any time.

I am praying that God will guide you thru all your troubles today and always. May HE surround you with the angels of support you need for hope, and faith, and courage in the face of life's problems.

If you or a loved one, are ill or hurting, may God bring hope and healing. If you are at the bedside of an aging or very ill one, may you all find comfort and peace in knowing that God is there with you and you are surrounded by angels.

If your needs are a new job, a new home, a financial matter, a personal matter, or other life problems that interfere with our normal lives, may God be at your side, giving you strength, and hope, and a strong faith that God is still in charge and HE has a plan for your life.

May God bless all of you and your homes today and always. Quilters are such a wonderful group of folks, always giving a piece of themselves, in their sewing, to others around them. May you always know Love and feel the hugs and peace of prayers lifting you up in your hour of need.

Ps Rod and I are both feeling better. Seemed to be some kind of 24 hr virus going around our area. Our DGD up in Vegas had strep last week. Must be flue and yuck season already. Still sorting and packing so gotta scoot.

1 week down, 1 week to go before I can try to talk again. Set off house alarm yesterday and had to talk to alarm co. and pray she could understand me! Otherwise feeling great, no pain anywhere. Just wait and see some more. Lots to be thankful for!! especially continued prayer. I will let you know anything new as I find out. Just thankful for no news at this point. Another MRI in 2 months, but no change in use of the left eye.

My DD has requested that I ask everyone I know for prayers for her and her hubby today. Her name is Autumn and she lives in Texxas. She is 36 and has been trying for a baby for about 8 years. She did have some surgery 2 months ago and the doctor told her she wasn't producing eggs. She started taking a med and now she has eggs! Today they are going to the fertility clinic for a A. I. procedure. Only 20% chance that it will "take" but we're praying so hard. and if it does, doctors told her that she has a good possibility of twins and a slight chance of triplets. We'll take what we can get, but know our chances are better with some of those world-class QIAD prayers. Thank you! Stay tuned. We'll know in about 10 days if it 'took'.

as some of you know I have been battling vision problems for several years had the cataracts removed on both eyes in feb and june seem to be better for about a month then I started collecting fluid behind the retina same problem ive had with other eye for years so my new glasses not helping vision was 20/40 Friday a week ago went to another retina specialist then Friday another specialist saw me vision is now 20/80 yesterday they did photodynamics therapy to try to stop the leakage the dye they use for this procedure is extremely toxic and I have to wear long pants long sleeve shirt hat and gloves for the next 5 days no halagan lights or dental procedures because of the lights this fluid is in my line of vision and this is suppose to be my better eye I don't like to whine and complain but I am extremely worried about my vision and what the future holds for me if my eye sight keeps going bad as a quilter you know the importance of vision to quilt but im worried about my day to day ability like driving and reading directions from cook book are in store just paying for items basically being able to care of my husband needs because of his disability so pray for a miracle that the good lord will restore my vision as much as I need to be able to keep doing things I so love to do thank you for listening and praying please don't take your eye sight for granted it is so precious and we just don't realize how much till its not there anymore

now if I can ask for one please.... a position will be coming up at work and I would love to have it.. I am doing everything extra I can to show that I could use this job.. it would be a nice raise for me... please pray that if it's in Gods plan for me that he drop it in my lap...thanks..

Ollie1shoe/Glenda......Special prayers immediately for your eyesight. May God bring you a miracle as HE guides the hands of the drs in bringing healing to your vision. My own husband was considered legally blind for 8 months in 1987 due to eye surgery. Then suddenly, overnight, his eyesight came back in one eye.

......Drs have never been able to explain it. They couldn't put it in the medical records but they said it was indeed a miracle. They worried that it might go away overnight again. That was 26 yrs ago. God brings us miracles each day. He has a plan for your life today and always. He will provide the support you need and the care of your husband too.

MaryQ......Special prayers for Autumn as she awaits the news on her fertility treatment. May God bless them with a miracle baby in their lives. My youngest DD went thru several fertility treatments over 6 yrs ago. Then the last time dr said it would be the last time they would try.

...... It worked and we have an adorable little 6 yo red-headed grandson, our miracle baby. Praying for a miracle for your family today too. God has a plan for their lives too. Just pray and believe it will happen when the time is right. God bless you little family today and always too.

Joan......prayers of thanks to God that your son is ok. How nice that you got a chance to go to Paducah once you knew your son was fine. What a nice way to calm down and relax on your trip back home. perfect lady- prayers for your daughter that IVF will work and a beautiful baby or 2 will be the result.

Glenda- I am praying for your vision to return to normal. I have a cataract on my usable eye and am dreading having to give up driving. You have so much more to contend with. Please Father, if it be your will, truly a miracle is needed here.

Chriss- I am praying for this job to be yours. I hope it will be a blessing to you.

I have a special prayer request for a lady and her family that my sister, Marianne, works with. Kendra is a cook at the day care center where Marianne is a shopper for the needs of the daycare. Here is the email. Please keep Kendra, her mom and dad too, and all the family in your prayers. They have had so many problems lately.

Please keep the cook, Kendra, in prayer, her dad's afraid of hosp.& doesn't understand medical talk. He wants Kendra to be with her mom at new heart hosp. so she's taking wed&thurs both off,I think. She said it's hard for her to talk without crying, so much going on at once-see below-she's on church prayer email list--------


Prayer Request from Kids First: "
Kendra, our Kids First cook, has asked for prayers for her mother. Her 58 yr old mother went to the hospital Thursday night with what they thought was a heart attack(heart disease is in family). It turns out, she has a blood clot in her aorta. Kendra would like us all to pray that her mother follows the doctors orders. (She is supposed to remain calm and rest until it moves). She will have a procedure done next week.

Kendra would also like us to pray for her. She is dealing with some of her own health issues. She will find out results of her medical tests Wednesday. She is overwhelmed with stress right now. Thanks for your prayers, Sara "
