My 5" squares are cut, half square triangels ready to cut and square, progress is made!

I posted in Photos pictures of the two test blocks I made. One the way the tutorial said and one the way I have choosen to make them, with a solid square of white in the center.

I'm in--I like this block very much and have a bunch of star fabrics. I'll do 3 or 4. It is just amazing the wonderful tutorials available on line now.

Half square triangles made, 5 inch and 9.5 inch squares cut, one block made. I found that I have two fabrics the same next to each other after I posted the picture...grrr.

WooHoo!!!!! Let the CELEBRATION BEGIN!!!! FABulous Block. No worries about the ones next to each other. Unless they will bother you the winner of the block can easily switch it for another color.

I ordered the fabric! Progress, it will be the end of the month before I can get these made. But since DH and DGS will be gone the last week, i can probably get them done in a day.

I seem to be able to do the ones with all 5" charms better than trying to use 9.5" solid and making the ends fit. lol .
