Re: OPENING DAY
My package from grannyjean hs arrived.
I recieved my package within the hour. You are awesome. I love everything. I recieved a stocking with a Nutcracker embroidered on it, a set of 5 nutcracker ornaments, two quilting ornaments, a great quilt calendar, thread, needles, tape measure, sugar free truffles, a gingerbread pin, note cards, nail file,Braid in a Day pattern with fabric and template in a project bag, and last but certainly not least a book with colored post-its I believe to mark yardage and to take notes for a fabric shopping trip.
Thank you grannyjean for everyting. I will sure to put it all to good use.

Re: OPENING DAY
Dear Secret Santa Martha!!
Wow, wow, wow!!! You really outdid yourself! Everything is so beautiful! Sorry I was late opening - we have been busy with doc appts and blood work and then just "regular" Christmas business!
My Secret Santa sent the following:
= A Jim Shore angel panel
- A beautiful blus stocking with the nativity scene embrodiered on it which she did herself!
- A rose sachet
- a pin cushion
- a jar of pins with a beautiful top
- a homemade ornament
- a tape measure
- notepaper and a pad of shopping lists
- bobbins
- a light up compact
- a thread cutter
- Christmas FQs
- 1930's fabric
- red and purple threads
- the book Threads From the 30's so I can make our wedding quilt
- a poinsetta soap
- a Sunbonnet Sue hot pad
- 5 embrodiered gift tags that I hung on the tree as ornaments
- a crocheted dish towel
And for my DH, she made him a Green Bay Packers lap throw! He was amazed that he would be included and is very thankful and appreciative. He can't tolerate the cold like he used to!
Thank you again for everything! You are truly an amazing woman! Have a very Merry Christmas and enjoy your family.

Thanks, all!!! I'm glad you all like the stocking...it's still the one from Bearpaw Ranch, but I wanted to try something a little different.
All is well, and I'm glad Sonya liked the gifts.

Re: OPENING DAY
This has been a busy week, and I finally had a chance last night to open my box from MsSewNSew, Debbie.
I found the most beautiful humongous strip-pieced stocking filled with wonderful goodies inside. There was a book - The Scrapsavers Solution Book - and it didn''''t have to bend much at all to fit inside this b-i-g stocking. There was a big round red container with homemade cookies - mmmmm, a card with a 2-page letter, and in the toe of the stocking was the biggest jelly roll I''''ve ever seen wrapped in a Christmas-y fat quarter. The jelly roll is called Mary''''s Blenders by Mary Koval - all solids in varying colors of the rainbow from deep reds to purples and blues and greens and pale oranges and yellows and whites. It is just perfect!
Debbie''''s card mentioned that she would rather send one big gift rather than lots of little ones, and that is okay with me! I am thrilled with all of the things I found in my box. Debbie, you found the perfect things just for me! Thank you sooooo much! I love it all.
I''''ll have to post a picture later.
