here is a picture of the stocking... I am kind of proud of it.. I took a felt stocking apart that I had got at JoAnn's... covered in fabric, made up some applique for the front and then re-sewed it back together...

Carole, I am so glad you liked everything.. it was such a fun gift to put together... I enjoyed it so so much..

Merry Dec. 8th!!
I opened my gift an hour and a half ago, but after fighting with Photobucket for an hour, went and took a shower. Maybe now I can do this.
Beth Street was my SS!! I had no clue!! And was she ever generous, People! This is what she gave to me:
* enough plastic shopping bags (she used for packing material) that will get me through 2 weeks of RV living and will save us from having to buy bags! I think that may have been an inadvertant, yet very appreciated gift!
* A beautiful stocking
* a four panel snowman wall hanging. I LOVE snowmen!
* a tiny Nativity just purrfect to set under our tiny RV tree!
* a cupcake kit
* 3 more books in the mystery series that she's introduced me to - and already given me 4 books at teaser gifts! (They are very good!)
* scrapbooking supplies
* 2 Christmas list pads (I'm a serious lister!)
* Christmas thank you cards
* Braid pattern and some precut fabrics for it
* blue Christmas print FQ
* emory board with cat eyes all over it. >^^<
* lip balm
* part of a bag of fun-size Snickers bars (hmmm. . . wonder where the rest of the bag went . . . .)
* 5 other misc Christmas candies
* very large gingerbread-flavored candy cane. (Did she somehow know how much I dislike mint?)
* pkt of wassail flavoring (and I told DH 3 days ago I wanted to make some wassail!)
* scrubbie sponge with a holiday poem attached
* keychain that says MARY
* 3 spools of thread (one was a color I needed badly for a specific project!)
* a fun spool and button daisy knick-knack
* a wooden knick knack that says "Faith*Hope*Love"
* pkg of flower flat head pins
* 4 rolls of fabric tape
* and a card and letter

I am living vicariously through you all till mine arrives hehehehehe so see I am actually being selfish LOL enjoying all the fun festivities and yes it is making my B day funner! Way cool! I wish the sleepy heads would get up and post LOL wake up wake up! It's 8 our time here so some must be really sleeping in this morning.....I just couldn't LOL I'm a kid at heart and wanted to see what everyone got) I love this day!
