quilt made with 6 strips that are sewn inot tube before cuttin

Today on PBS Quilt in a day show, I caught the last part of the show. The feature quilt was 6 strips and of square that are sewn together then sewn into a tube before cutting. the cut tubes are then cut on seam one, the next one cuts block one in half. the quilt is made in top and bottom. I did not get the name of the quilt or the measurement of the blocks that are sewn into the strips. Does anyone know what quilt I am talking about or where to find the pattern?

That is either the Candy Can quilt or the Quick Trip around the World pattern. Since they are made the same way.
