Well these are fun to do. Think the candy are the best.
Love looking at all the blocks. They're all great!

The Jars are Very Very Nice!!! I love the teddy bears! I'm so glad I joined this year. I think I will start shopping around for some kind of sashing fabric and get some ideas.

Love seeing the pictures!!

Ok, I think I found the block I want to do, the Peony from El's Egg Money book. They have a picture of the red & green one and I think it would be perfect! Now to figure out how much fabric I'm going to need................

Thanks for all the suggestions. The presents & the Jars look awesome!

Here is a sample of mine. I will be using up scraps so they will all be different. I used El's pattern from Bears in the Woods.

Mary,
Love the Christmas jars!

Traci,
I love he Peony block!

Vinae,
I am so glad that you are doing the tree block from Bears in the Woods! I almost chose that block.

I need to get my sample made. Right now I am in Marion, IN. I am going to El's induction into the Quilter's Hall of Fame tomorrow night!

I am very excited. I did a workshop yesterday with Teresa Varnes. It was the new Opposites Attract quilt. It is in Perennials. Today I went to El's Luncheon. She talked about her life and her family. They are all here. She was great!

I have a favor to ask of all of you. If it is possable for you to post where you found your blocks, either on line on in a book etc, I would appreciate it very much. I am excited to watch this thread and see what the finished quilt will look like.

Keep up the great work.
Thanks
Debbie

Sandy - Your blocks are pure and simply FABulous!!!! I will try to post a picture here for all to see although a picture won't do them justice :) :)

Vinae - Awesome Block. Always did love that Tree. I can already see the presents I will put under my tree :) :)

April - Hope you are having a great time with Eleanor today. Hope you get lots of pictures to share :)

Debbie - Great Idea!! I have added that to the list up top. Maybe you will be making the blocks along side of us OR ... I am thinking of the upcoming Lotto ... KEEP WATCH for it!!!

Mary - I LOVE the Candies in the Jar!!! Those are the only candies that won't add inches to my waste and will be enjoyed forever!!!

A GENTLE REMINDER *********
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR 12.5" RULER COVERS ALL THE FABRIC OF YOUR BLOCK BEFORE YOU SEND THEM.
THIS WAY EVERYONE WILL BE ABLE TO SQUARE UP THEIR BLOCKS TO 12.5" WHEN WE ARE READY TO PUT THEM TOGETHER ... THANKS!!!!!
