Well, I made one of the Fool's Squares but made a wrong cut and now I don't have enough for the outside to bring it to 12 1/2 inches. Any suggestions?

If I heard you right you do not have enough of the corners of the block and the middle of the outside borders of the block?
The only other place you would use that fabric is in the center of the block?
So I would find a fabric that works best with all the other colors and then relax and enjoy your creation :)
**** but first take a break and have a glass of wine and start again tomorrow :)

yeeeahhh!!

for obvious reasons, you will always get a good 'ole 'yeah' from me when they arrive safely! lol...
i'm happy :c) the 'hand of the picker' is 'pleased' with his bribe lol...

i promise 'sew' hard, that if i'm lucky enough to win this month that i WILL be keeping these fabulous blocks fro myself!!
i would 'sew' desperately looooooooove a quilt made of these pinwheels!!
i love, love, love that pattern!!!

The block is already together. Maybe i will just put some white around it. Should have known not to use fabric by the skin i of my teeth.

With the Fool's Square block you do need a border around it to make it 12.5" so any fabric that goes with what you used will be perfect!

Keep in mind a WOW might be used for a sashing when you put all the blocks together as a winner so if you used a WOW for your border it would blend in with the sashing :)

Block #2, glad those are over. This block was harder for me than the COT.
