Hi. I appreciate your tutorial for this and I am eager to make some.

When you say to nest the halves together and sew, which way would you do that? With the batting side out on one side...? I don't want to have to pull this apart after sewing it all. that's so disappointing. Thank you!

Laura, did you figure it out? I see that you never got an answer. You are correct, btw. After quilting, to sew the front and the back together, place fabrics right sides together with batting on the outside and sew around the edges leaving an opening to turn it right side out. Clip the corners and turn it, then stitch the opening closed by hand or machine.
