Joan (Quiltnfun) and I made a wee surprise for El. Joan had it up for El when she walkied in for the morning class. It was hanging up when I got there for afternoon class and I think it will be in the video, but here's a look at it on Joan's cutting table:

Hi Sonya,
No recipe this month (but chocolate was tossed around! Got a couple of tootsie rolls!)

Sally & Joan,

Wow, I like it. You guys did a really good job. So what did El think when she saw it? I bet it will be in her book. Great Job on the quilt too.

Man, it's been a loooooong time since I was here last. I got busy with work, then travel to Spain, then making quilts for my soon-to-be-born nieces and I haven't been doing any of the blocks but I hope to get to them soon and finish them up early in the new year before the Puyallup sewing and quilting show.

BTW; I just got a Baby Lock Symphony as a Birthday/Christmas present. I'm so excited!!!!

Great quilts ya'll!

Baby Lock Symphony!! I'm jealous (just a wee bit as I have an Espire!)
Need to get one of my quilts (probably 6" one) done for shot at getting in book--things have been topsy turvy around here. DH was in ICU for 5 days due to GI bleed. Turned out to be a bleeding ulcer, a huge ulcer that we didn't know he had. Scary, but was released today. Color MUCH better (his hemoglobin was down to 5.7, normal is around 15--now up to 9.8--way better!)
So, are there any pictures to share??? How are all of you guys doing on yours?

Juanita, LOL
The quilt is the one El has been making along with us! Isn't it wonderful?! Mine is still in blocks, hope to change that today! I'll be doing the same border if I ahve enough background!

Has anyone received a pattern for December? Is there going to be one, does anyone know? It's 12/23 and no pattern. A bit long if there is one. thanks, carol/kittyquilt
