Well, I did get some lotto blocks made this month, better spend some time in bedroom today and make some progress. After lotto blocks done, I will work on Connie's quilt, shouldn't take long to finish.

Oh no Pam, we are not going down the road of UFO's. I would be embarrassed to list them all. I must have at least 10 or more.

I've been working on my UFO list!!! The dark fans I didn't like are fixed(sort of anyway) and ready to be set up. I unsewed a few blades of each fan and replaced them with lighter colors--looks better. The 1930's reproduction fabric fans are almost finished. Now to get both sew-up. Making progress....Redtop

Yee-haw, everybody. Awesome progress!

Valerie (We), I was talking to Val (Luv-2Quilt). But.... if you have less than two dozen UFO's, how long have you been quilting? I have partial class projects, BOM's from the first year I was in guild, and lots of pattern and fabric collections for when I have time. Maybe you aren't as good at procrastination as I am.

I hope that projects that have been planned and have purchased fabric for do not count as UFOs. If they do, then I have A LOT!

The good thing is that I have started recycling fabrics from previously planned quilts into actual quilts of another design. I think that what I really love is the fabric. I really feel sad when I use it all up in a project.

Here's my list for 2012.

For my children…..
1. Thomas’ quilt (a sampler he was supposed to get a year and a half ago when he left on a mission for our church) – I have three side of the border to go, and then bind it. (He gets home this September. I'm really late getting this finished!)
2. Rebecca’s quilt – I cut strips in 2008 when she was starting college. She just graduated and is leaving on a mission for our church this week.
3. Kenneth and Kim’s wedding quilt – Many of the blocks are sewn, the rest are cut out. They got married in Nov. 2009.
4. James’ wedding quilt – The top in their wedding colors got finished by the wedding day; but it still needs to be quilted and bound. They got married in 2005, and are now getting a divorce so I suppose my oldest granddaughter will get it.
5. Susan and Darian’s wedding quilt – They got married in September of 2007, but I’ve never decided what to make them, just that it will have a lot of green in it.
(Can you see the trend here?)

6. Pastel Party Quilt (2008 block swap)
7. Christmas Row Quilt (2008 block swap)
8. Crazy Quilt (2008 block swap) – I made extra blocks.
9. Send Along – Sew Along Quilt (2009/2010 block swap)
10. Happy Scrappy Houses Quilt (2009 block swap) – I made extra blocks, but haven’t made any of them wonky yet.
11. Wall hanging block swap (2009 block swap) – I still need to make my own block for my wall hanging and then put them all together.
12. Signature Quilt (2010 block swap)
13. And then there are the blocks I made for Tom’s quilt that didn’t get used, plus the blocks I made for the Nine-Patch Sew-Along (2009) – enough for another sampler quilt.
14. I Spy Quilts for all my grandchildren (at least 6 out of the 7 – maybe for Christmas)
15. Finally turning finished lap-sized tops into finished quilts – there are at least 5 of them that have been waiting for years

And I almost forgot these...
16. Autumn charm quilt
17. Halloween charm quilt
18. Winter charm quilt
19. Christmas Star quilt

… And that doesn’t include still wanting to make the ones for the Interactive Sew-Along of El’s free blocks (2010), and the first Cotton Pals Sew-Along blocks (2011) and Cotton Pals #2 for this year.

P.S. I am just glad my long list isn't as long as the ones some of you have! Of course, these are only the ones (except for DD#1 and the sew-alongs) that are already started. There are more - probably scrappy - quilts lurking in my mind using charms from other swaps over the years. (Like a Summer Porch quilt and a HST quilt in lights and darks, and something with sewing notions fabrics, and...);

Here is block 4 for the Treasure Chest BOM on Eleanor's Facebook page. Each month we enter our block on her Facebook page. Then people vote on their favorite. If you get the most votes, you get a $50 gift certificate to QIAD. So far. I have not won a gift certificate, but it is fun to participate. Submitting the block each month is on my resolution list. So far I have been able to keep upI These blocks are 16 and 1/2 inches.
