Traci, your snowflakes are so beautiful. Love your choice of fabrics and colors.

Pam, your pinecones are also so beautiful. Love them!

You both did great jobs! Can't wait to see all the blocks. 2 more days to go! :-)

No worries, Neon. I think we can all add our own "touches" to it to personalize it further, if we want to! I can "see" some applique stockings hung by the chimney with care (maybe with names on them), etc.... !

Sounds like you have had a lot on your plate, lately! Don't give these blocks a second thought. They are great as is, and we can add to them if we want to!

Happy Holidays.....Mel

Neon, I feel the warmth from your fire. Now, I get to make stockings that look just like the ones my honey and I have. How cool! Pam

Sonja- that is nice! I think it looks great! I am ready to sit by the fire and have my hot cocoa now. YUM!!! Thanks for getting it shipped today. I will be on the lookout for it.

Neon - Thanks for not giving up!

What we don't think will work is actually what works best :)

The blocks will look absolutely BEAUTIFUL when they are all put together and have found their places in their new home.

Sonya, I'm glad to have your fireplace!! It will be neat to use our imaginations to "decorate" it if we want to!

You know, I have some icicle blocks I was working on. If I have enough, I could get them in the mail, today. They should arrive on Thursday. It would make an even 20 if sewcarolyn's can't make it. I don't know if you would be interested. Pam

I have 16. I could make 4 more today.

Don't worry about a plain fireplace, Neon! I can already see a cat curled on the hearth, a poker stand, and a few candles or maybe a little picture on the mantle. Actually, this will be fun!

Pam, I was wondering what pine cone blocks would look like and now I know. They look like pinecones!! Terrific! Very generous of you to offer up your pretty icicle blocks to us. But what about whatever project you were making them for? Won't that leave you up in the air about that?
