I have all mine sewn and now I know why you were questioning the measurements. So different from the Old Fashion way BUT much easier even if the Arcs are smaller.
This is the first time I have made this block and I did not realize how much fabric does get wasted.
Valerie - Hope to get them in the mail tomorrow. I wasn't paying attention and ended up making 5 of the 30's prints. I am off on my counting

Ok Ladies here is a picture of mine - I made 5 which means I do need Andrews help as that is an odd number. They are all the same so I only took a picture of 1.
All the fabrics came from QIAD except the yellow from Joann's and the one next to the yellow came from Bolts.
Valerie - If you don't need to 5th one save it for the end of the year quilt. The arcs and triangles are going in the mail tomorrow.

Valerie - you have to figure out who the best person to bribe would be and then make sure the reward is really really really really excellent. then it should work. Plus put a bit of glue on your ticket so it sticks to the fingers when they swoooosh them around. Giggling intensely!!!!!

One more thought, be sure when you are putting the arches together that you are using El's template. Not all templates are the same size and we need to make sure the arches will eventually fit with every body else. I was looking at another one I had and sure enough, they are quite a bit different in size.
