Batting

Hello Again All, Can anyone tell me what thin fleece batting is? Is it the same as fusible fleece?

I do not believe that thin fleece batting is the same as fusible - I have use some very thin batting in my quilts but never fusible.

The only time that I use a fusible is when I make totes and other bags

I've never used it, but it is different than fusible fleece. Like Jana, I use fusible fleece only in totes, bags and purses. I would guess that you could use it wherever you want a very thin batting, but it definately is NOT fusible.

Thank you so much. I have used the fusible fleece in bags, too. But until this week I had never heard of thin fleece batting. Thanks so much!

It is the same thing, without the fusible. I use it for tablerunners, placemats, wallhangings. I believe it is what some call needlepunch batting. They have had it for years, then added the fusible to make it easier to use in purses, etc. There is also a thermal or insulated version. They are hard to tell apart once you've had them cut. So, label carefully. (How do I know this?)

What would you all say to use in a crib quiilt? Would Warm and Natural be a good choice?
