I just ordered some fabric from Hancocks-paducah. They have a few batiks on clearance-fyi.

2 maple leaf blocks are of the way tomorrow. Nice pattern, liked it, good choice. Thought it was hard, but once started learnt the 4.5 -4.7/8 concept was OK Doky..
Now I's pulling out scrappy pieces to make in smaller pattern for later put together.

I must go look at the paducah site! It's funny, 2 or 3 years ago I never would have bought batiks. Now I find them quite facinating and the fall colors are just gorgeous. How time changes things.

Seems as though I had to go to LQS and pick up some more batiks. I tried not to, honestly, but I just wasn't in control. So I have 4 new ones to work with for the swap.

I keep telling my husband "I'm not shopping for new fabric" because I want to work thru my stash (less to pack and move next year)....but I'll be darned if I don't keep buying more. A friend commissioned me to make a quilt. So back to hancocks of paducah I went. $63 later, I might have enough to make it!! That darned shopping bug.

Oh my goodness...just took the kids to school. Why do they the whole week off for Thanksgiving???? I didn't need the whole week. I'm so relieved. The tylenol should kick in soon.
