I hope I don't mess things up by saying I didn't get the white Kona...If everyone wants Kona, no problem, I have another shop, not far from me and I can check there......

I like the Kentucky chain and you might be able to find some fabric with horses in it.

For sunflowers you could make a mini dresdan plate in the colors of your state.

The block for California is not to hard but I would probably look for a tortoise for the center of the block and something that looks like a miles of dust. We do have windmills around here that might work also.

I would like to be in but I would also like the due date to not be very soon what with the holidays coming up it would be nice to have time to make all the blocks and not feel rushed.

Teresa... we are using red / white / and blue for the colors....you're right about the Calif block not being difficult... I also like the road to Calif and the golden gate block...

I like that there are a lot of choices out there.... you could make a block that is something in your state like the Golden Gate for us... and any block woud be prety in red / white and blue...

I was just reading your posts about looking for WOW fabrics and I ran across a couple of good ones. I'm having them added today, so if you all still need any, you could check online.
