well, that's all my blocks done, i've put one of each together in a sandwich bag, with my name/details inside. 9 in total. shame to have lost lorettav. :(
they will go out to you on monday mary ellen.

ok, ladies... time is rushing up now to the end of the month.
can you all try your hardest to have your blocks finished but next week.

aim to be posting them Friday 24th, or at the very latest, Monday 27th.
and that is at the very latest!!!

mary ellen and myself would very much appreciate it if you could keep to these dates.

thanks so much ladies, and we both hope that you have enjoyed playing with your christmas fabrics. i just love them myself!!
i'm so looking forwards to seeing what you have made, they are the loveliest of blocks and will make a gorgeous christmas quilt!!

At one time it was thought all the separate baggies added to the weight - regarding additional postage? We ended up putting them all in one baggie. I put my label on the block with a long stitch or two.
Whatever we decide we should all do the same so maryellen doesn't have to remember to put them in differently according to the postage on the return envelope..
Hope this makes sense cause I'm a bit tired this afternoon.

i've had word from 'Nur5e' that she is unfortunately unable to complete her blocks.
along with 'Lorettav' dropping out of the swap, that makes us down to 8 participants.

maryellen will now only require;
8 'star puzzle' blocks, & 8 'christmas star' blocks from each of you.

i hope this is ok.

With the swaps I've been in, it seems to be much easier if all of the blocks are put in one bag, plus it saves on the postage for the sender and the recipient. And it makes it easier to sort them since the blocks don't slip and slide :)

Ladies, please send all ten to me, then I'll sort them out. Marcia (nur5e) is able to send one set, so we'll have some to exchange with her. I'll be working feverishly to get mine all done in time. How's everyone else doing?

Uh-Oh I thought we had till the end of the month to get them in the mail. Please wait for me.
I am working on them but with having to coordinate all - get everything needed to setup and then needing to be there the whole day there is no way I can get them done and in the mail by monday.
Probably should have done this one first. This is an intense block with lots of pieces but please know I am working on it.

Am I only sending 8 sets to ME?
Do my eyes deceive me or is one block smaller than the other?
I thought they were both 12 1/2"

T.
