I just finished "Michael Vey", "The Road From Chapel Hill" and "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society". The Guernsey one was my favorite. It took me awhile to get into both of the first two but they ended well.

I have been seein gthe ads on TV by James Patterson. I love mysteries but have never read his. So I have been reading his Alex Cross series. I am now on Violets are Blue. I just finished reading the Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet. Very interesting . Also just finished reading the Eyre Affair. THis is written by an author who lives in Wales. It is a total British book to read and it has to do with someone stealing Jane Eyre out of her book. You might want to try it......it is really different.

I got a Kindle for Christmas so I have been busy reading books that I found for free on the Amazon website. I have been suprised by the number of books available for free on the kindle. I have downloaded enough books for the next couple of months. I received "Water for Elephants" as a free audio book and it is next on my list to finish. I have to say that I love my Kindle almost as much as I love my sewing machine.

Well, just finished reading Alex Cross's Trial by James Patterson....Of course he always writes a good book but this was made me really sad...It is about the deep south when the blacks really had a terrible time and how a young attorney from Washington was sent to investigage....I know this was a story but just thinking that these things really did happen and some may still be happening, makes me very sad and mad.......

I just finished "Nosy Neighbor" by Fern Michaels, Irish. And you were so right when you said it was hard to put down! Great story!

Thought I would share this, as I read it years ago and want to re-read it: BLACK LIKE ME, believe author was James Griffith. He was white, dyed his skin black, and went to live in the south to see how bad it really was. Very profound reading and sad also. He eventually died of cancer some years later I read from the RX he took to change his skin color.
