Quilter's Almanac Irish Block

I was watching Quilt in a day program about Quilter's Almanac. She showed something about cutting yoour batting in different sizes and quilt a block. i sure would like to know how to do it or the name of it.

Hi, I missed that on the program. Could it be much like the Georgia Bonesteel method? El has a book and DVD on the Quilter's Almanac. It was from her third block party. I noticed it is on sale now.
