I saw Quilt in a Day starting to show how to do Quick Turn Quilting.
I can't find anything on it. If anyone knows how to do it please helpl me?

I have seen El do two things that I think she called quick turn
One is applique where you use fusible interfacing and turn the piece out so that the fusible side can adhere to your quilt top and then you can either hand sew or blanket stitch on your machine.
Second - maybe a quick turn quilt is where you sandwich the layers together - place the right sides together of the top and the backing fabric - add the batting to the bottom of this unit - you now have a sandwich of the three layers - sew around all the sides - leaving a opening in one of the sides - I like the top or bottom - about 8 - 10 inches - so that you can turn the whole quilt inside out - then trim and straighten out the corners and you have a finished quilt. Hand close the opening and then you can then either tie or machine quilt - no binding necessary.

Is this what El calls the birthing method?
I have seen her demonstrate on some of the videos. It is when you put the top and batting face down on the backing then stitch around it all leaving a place to turn it inside out (birthing) then stitch the opening closed. You can tack it if you want.
