Trying to find.......
I am trying to find some Cincinnati Reds fabric. There is some on ebay but I don't want to pay $30 for a fat quarter!! I just need enough to make a tote bag. If anyone has any, please let me know or if your local stores have any please advise me.
Thank you so much

I tried googling it too and came up empty..... wasn't there a fabric search website ?
too bad you can't just buy a pillowcase with the team logo on it and make a tote from it???? if it's lined I would think it would be strudy enough?

Bed Bath and Beyond's website has the Reds pillowcases for $3.99 apiece. If you bought 2, your bag could have the embleme on both sides. The are being clearanced out it says. Amie

Re: Trying to find.......
Viv, I just checked on "Ask"..Yahoo...someone posted 3 yrs ago that MLB no longer licenses any of its logos or images for wholesale fabric. So they said that Ebay was it..all the fabric is discontinued.
So I kind of think the others are right...find pillowcases or other cotton items and use them.

Re: Trying to find.......
The pillowcases are not exactly what I need to that is out. And if ebay is the only answer I am not paying ebay prices. I would never pay $40 for a fat quarter at Joann's or Hancock's so I am definately not paying that on ebay. So I will try to find something else.
Thanks for all your help.

With regard to the MLB fabric - could you somehow use a T-Shirt ( with backing if needed ) to make a tote ? I''''m sure regular fabric will be expensive, but a trip to the local thrift store may turn up a couple of T-shirts !!!

Re: Trying to find.......
Vivian try hancock fabrics on Indian Ripple Road off of 275 in Dayton. I am not sure if they have it but I usually can find the fabrics I want there.
I was just in a store somewhere in the past 2 weeks that had alot of sports fabrics. If I think of where it was I will contact you.
If you talk to someone at JoAnn fabrics and they say they carry it but don't have any in the store. Ask them to check other stores. If they find one in Dayton I will go and get it for you. I live in Wilmington, Ohio
