They are a variety of sizes and can be arranged to make a great quilt. It will be fun to see the resulting quilts.....and we should all send photos of our finished quilts to the QIAD store!

You will sign up IF you want to be included in selecting the blocks. I will add people to the list and assign a number. I will roll a die every 7 days and the person with that number will have 3 days to select the next block and post it. (I have a 20 sided die, a 16 sided one, a 12 sided one and an 8 sided one) So a new block will be selected every 10 days. There are 15 blocks to choose from and my plan is for us to do 12...or we can do all 15 if you want...

The blocks are all pretty and a scrappy or well coordinated fabrics would be pretty. I am going to look at my fabrics and figure out what I want to use as a common fabric to tie things together.

I've wanted to do a Delectable Mountain and a Trip Around The World. I've got some Batiks I've been hoarding. Any other ideas? Lucie

Nothing more motivating that other angels encouraging each other.

If we wanted to do a signle pattern, El's Triple Irish Chain is gorgeous as is here Tennessee Waltz, both of which I have wanted to make. For another sample, The Quilter's Almanac has great blocks and make up into a beautiful quilt..........Just my suggestions.

And we could always do a version of Orion's Star.............

I am doing an Orion's Star right now for my Air Force son. It is in Air Force and patriotic fabrics. I have the stars done, just need to put the logs on them. He should be home from the middle east in April or May and I want to have it done by then.

I would like to have a Sunbonnet Sue by the month.. but don't know where to get a pattern... and it is applique...

there are other sampler type quilts that El has or you could pick a block a month type thing... or there are free block patterns on the web site and they would be fun to do

or egg money quilts...

That bonnet girl is too fancy for me. I like the cute chunky Sue like the one that traveled around visiting QIAD gals a year or so ago. Maybe just a Sunbonnet Sue dressed for each month.

Or another not-too-hard block per month sew along for a sampler quilt, like last year's Pick and Stitch or Send Along swap.

There are lots of nice projects in the media theater here. There are 3-4 I would enjoy as a sew-along. Maybe we could do something that would use our stash or leftover fabrics. The Irish Chain would be nice.
