I've just had a look at that site and there are some lovely patterns. i especially like the 'vintage propellers' block. would make a nice swap actually!

Oasis' little quilt is sooooo cute. I like it better than the ones shown on the pattern. I don't know if I see myself making this one right now (maybe the baby size), but the instructions were very clear.

Linda, that is really cute. I think the thing that makes it look so much cuter than the photo on the pattern is the non scrappy look of yours. Using a purchased honeybun just doesn't seem the way to go, makes it look really scrappy and not nicely coordinated like yours.

Perhaps I might try a little on with my own fabrics. Thanks so much for your inspiration.


And Sally, I think your idea of your own fabrics will make a nice quilt as well. This one just doesn't do well "scrappy."

I just watched the video..............now I have to go make some cinnamon rolls!!!

Watching El imitate Julia Childs and watching her try to get into her apron was funny.

I really liked the first quilt of browns and pinks. The border print for the border really dressed it up and made it look more formal.

Thank you for the nice comments. I also just used up some bits of fabric and a few FQs to try this pattern.

Well had too many 30s to not make it scrapy (did think about using the same 'light', actually white with wee dots that are all the colours [same as Linda's background I think], but it would have used up that fabric and I don't like the quilt enough to do that! Here's May quilt and left-overs (have more to do before I put together...) and I'm also posting April quilts.
Linda, love your! Isn't El a hoot--we laugh for 2 hours--great fun!
