Welcome enjoylife950!!I don't rememeber seeing your post before. Eleanor does a lot to get us excited about quilting. The ease and the neat tricks she has to make it so simple. It sounds like you are so busy quilting, you don't have time to work!! I am sure the quilt you are working on will be beautiful. If there is anything we can do to help you or encourage or answer questions, please ask. Happy sewing!!

Hi
I'm making my boyfriend a quilt for Christmas and I'm almost done with it, I have made all of the small individual squares and am now working on the sides and the backing, how would you recomend I connect the smaller areas for the binding for the quilt itself.

any helpers are very much appreciated

thanks

Welcome Enjoylife950........

El is starting a new Block of the Month, showing us how to use up scraps. You might want to join and get some techniques that only our El can show us. There is a few of us signed up already.

I also had to leave my job because of health issues and took up quilting. I have always loved to sew, but now I have the time each day to really try some patterns and of course most of El's techniques.

I look forward to seeing your quilts and chatting with you here on the forum.

Hi there, I am new to this site and am so excited. I talked Santa into getting the Block of the Month Club for me for Christmas. I have looked at a lot of quilt books and magazines and keep coming back to Elenor Burns. I can understand each step with her! And that is important! I am just finishing a Lovers Knot twin size/sofa quilt, for my niece and her brand new husband. They are both TALL, so I made it a twin size to snuggle. I will keep looking into your chat room here, it's fun.
