jeri-check your private messages.......... and my daughter said not to change the backing strips too she said Jeremy won't notice them either

Carolyn, he is going to LOVE this quilt! You did such a nice job! As for the angle on the back - let me tell you about my dresden plate (or daisy) quilt I did for my sis last March. I ran just a teensy bit short of fabric (about 2" x 18") for the back and had to piece it - with a fabric that didn't match. I talked to her yesterday and I mentioned that and she said she never noticed! So, I say - leave it!

Terrific quilt!

Carolyn, it's beautiful! Love it all. If you haven't mentionned for the strip in opposite direction, I wouldn't have noticed it. I agree with others, leave it as it is! :-)
