Vinae, It looks spectacular. You beat me to the applique attempt. Was it difficult to do. I have to get the supplies to try it. The deer look great. What is the background fabric? Are they leaves?

Lowell, the background fabric is leaves. It took a bit to cut the antlers out. They are so small. It was even more fun to try to machine quilt the antlers in place.
I borrowed the book from the library. I loved it so much I went to ebay and bought it. I love lodge look. I hope all you that try it will enjoy it too. I think I will make one for myself next.
