Re: Antique sewing machine
My grandmother in Wisconsin had one exactly like this one. When she passed away, my aunt got the house and its contents. I have wanted that machine since forever. My aunt passed away about 2 ro 3 years ago and I have no idea who ended up with the machine. She never married and the rest of the family had a huge falling out so we lost touch with her. I hope whoever got the macine enjoys it and uses it wisely.

Oh Denise that is beautiful, looks in wonderful condition. I learned to sew on my Grandmothers Threadle, it was a "White". It got lost in the family along the way and I don't know what happened to it.

Oh, it's so beautiful! Congratulations, Denise!! I've got my husbands grandmother's treadle machine, but it's not in nearly as nice condition... It is still a treasure to me, though.
I'm so happy for you!!!

Re: Antique sewing machine
Quiltbee thanks for the website. Denise after looking at your photos it looks like we have the same, or very similar machines. Mine needs so serious cleaning and I do have to find the belt, but I am on it. Your copy of my manual will be on the way monday. Thanks for sharing the photos. I may name mine Bocche which is Polish for gramma but then again my AUnt Martha bought it for $5 so maybe I should give her an aunt martha type name. ENjoy
