Antique sewing machine

I know that many of you loves antique sewing machines and want to share with you pictures of a machine that I received as a gift.

Last year, one of my DH's cousin's wife had an old sewing machine with the cabinet and I told her once that if ever she wanted to get rid of it to let me know, that I'm interested to buy it. Not long ago, we gave them my MIL's tv. She called me not long after that to say that if I still wanted the sewing machine that she's giving it to me. We went to pick it up last Wednesday.

As you can see, it's a Singer pedal sewing machine. After researchs on internet with the serial number, I found out that it's a model 127 and was build in 1914. I have all the accessoiries, except the manual book. Now to figure out how to thread the machine LOL

I have two treadle sewing machines one is a Singer and the other is a Pfaff. DH researched how old they were when we first got them but I don't remember how old he said they were. I have all the accessories and the Pfaff machine has the original manual in German. I paid about $40.00 for the Pfaff when we were in Germany while DH was in the army. Two ladies were selling it at a flea market, it was their grandmothers and they did not want it. It was dusty and had been out in a storage shed so they didn't know if it worked. I told DH to let me have a look at it and check it out, I could see that all it needed was a good cleaning so we bought it.

Oh! I haven't thought of a name. Now let see, may be I'll named her "Agnes", in memory of my grandmother, my Mom's mother. She had a machine like this one. Or Bertha, but I think it will be Agnes!
