Here I go again - out to prove my ignorance - but I've read lots of details about various noodle swaps - dates, colors, even stores. But no where have I read an explanation for WHAT IS A NOODLE? I've mulled it over for a while and figure perhaps it's a WOF (Width of Fabric) strip. Is this right? And what width? My guess is 2-1/2 inches. Am I close with my guesses??

A noodle is 2 1/2 stipe (width of fabric. Previous noodle swaps have been 2 colors, 4 to 6 noodles for each person, e.g. 3 pink & 3 brown.)
