I love the look of blanket stitch on applique. It is really fun to do on the machine also. Great job and what a good neighbor you are!

Absolutely beautiful, I can tell that you really put your heart into doing these for your neighbor. I need to learn to applique, I put it on my "must learn" list as I am working on a quilt that has some simple flowers. I think the method you used is going to be my method of choice. Thank you so much for sharing the photos, you did a lovely job.
