Re: Men' Comfort Quilts Ended: Sept 4th
Hi,
Just had a thought about the labels - - If they're machine embroidered, maybe the date can be left off (but room saved) and the date can be hand embroidered? Just my '2 bits'. That's what I'm thinking of doing because a friend of mine offered to make me some labels and we put our heads together and came up with that idea.
I'm working on some blocks - they're fun and should fit in with the rest. Great work everyone!

Quilting, quilting, quilting. I've got a few blocks in progress - I found a bundle of the colors (in my stash) you're asking for and am having lots of fun using the lovely fabrics up. It's a bundle of quarter yards and I think I bought it when I worked in Pasadena, CA. The name of the shop eludes me at the moment, but it's all good quality and I think the blocks will look good. It's been a while because I don't even remember what quilt I was going to make - definitely a "manly" theme....
But, if for some reason, they don't fit in, feel free to return them - my feelings will not be hurt - I can find a place for them in my future "Frankenstein" quilt. tehe

Cathy i know you do not know me. but i would be very willing to take this over for you if you would like for me too. it is such a good thing you have started and i so hate for it to end.
If there is anyway i can help you, please let me know.
i am in the dark as to who caused the trouble in the first place. but i am willing to put the blocks together and quilt the tops then send them on to whoever needs them. Lets not let this worthy project die.
