Just letting you know I received my first birthday block(s) from Caroline 1947 and I just love them!! Thanks sew much!! I will post a photo when I receive all of them!! Thanks for the birthday card and bookmark!! Why did I not think of that?!! LOL
Can't wait to see the rest...this is too fun!!

Dorothy-- Your birthday envelope is all ready to wing it's way to your house! I'm afraid it might be a day or two past the actual big day, but it should be there soon! I am so sorry that I ran a tad late-- I had some things that came up this past week and threw me off my schedule.

I hope you like the fabric I chose-- I really love it. We always try to make a trip to the Smoky Mountains in October to see the leaves changing-- and there is a particular leaf is just amazing-- the way the colors change on it... Well, this fabric looks exactly like that!

You may have turned me on to batiks!

Anyway, I hope you have a FANTASTIC birthday-- celebrate doing all the things you love-- and have an extra piece of cake for me!

Hooray Sandy my block arrived today no damage done and it is such a lovely block too thanks isn't yellow and blue a pretty mix? well I think so!! lol hugs kathy

I agree, Kathy! Yellow & blue are beautiful together--- remind me of a bright sunny sky! Would love to see a picture of your blocks!

My quilt top is *almost* finished-- just a few more sashing strips and cornerstones-- then I'll post a picture-- and I just LOVE my birthday blocks!

Sent a block to Rita yesterday, should get there in time. I also had to fill out a customs form which is no big deal. Hope it arrives ok.

Ruth I will watch for your block that you mailed to arrive... just so you know I too have to fill out customs declaration for all packages crossing the border as well, so for us in Canada that is most of them!! LOL
