Here is the list of birthday gals for August 2009. Please let me know if there are any errors or corrections needed.

AND please, if you or someone you know has had to drop out, please let me know so people aren't waiting and expecting blocks. There are a few people who we haven't heard from and haven't sent blocks. I hope you are feeling better, my package to you is ready to take to the post office which my husband will do tomorrow while I take a quilt class up near my daughters home... its called a Kimono quilt. I hope you like the fabric and star that I chose.

Kathy - sent yours off today - after I assured the PO that yes Qlnd Austrailia is not in the USA! Hope it makes it.

I mailed KatieKoala's and Tarajo's blocks today. I enjoyed making both of them and hope you girls like them! I've got to get to the store for some batik fabric to make the block for Irishgram... there's a new Hancock Fabrics that just opened this week --- only about 20 miles from here, so that gives me a great reason to go shop! :-)

I've pulled out my birthday blocks this week and have started working on getting them put together. I decided to set them on point and am adding setting triangles with appliqued posies on them-- same color scheme. I can't wait to finish the top!! I'll post a picture when I do. :-) (think I'll call this one "Make a Wish" because these were blocks that I *wished* for and also in reference to "making a wish" on your birthday candles...

Gwen, can't wait to see your quilt. Just by describing it, I can imagine it. It will be beautiful!

I haven't decided yet what I'll make with my blocks.

I am a month ahead with this list (sort of). I sent out all of my August birthday blocks on Tuesday morning! Two of them are the first week of August and one is going to Australia and I wanted to make sure Kathy got hers close to on time.
