Congratulations to your son on his accomplishment!

I love what you did with the eagle quilt, moving the stars to the sides. Great look!

I made one by the pattern for my DH, an ardent patriot, for our 10th wedding anniversary. I hadn't been quilting very long so the piecing was a real challenge; he is also color blind, so I didn't include any red (which is a color I love to use). Keeping it a secret for weeks was tricky, too!
