Essential Thread

Post by esj11978 »

This may be a stupid question but the Essential thread can you use it for piecing or should you use it for just quilting? Thanks, Erica

I use it for all of my piecing now. I am so thankful someone here was speaking so highly of it! I tried it and just love it. I have 2 Bernina's & they both love it too.

I use it all the time. And right now Connecting Threads is offering free shipping on all orders. Expires 6/15/09. Just go to www.connectingthreads.com/freeship for the appropriate code to use.

I love it also and have gotten my daughter on it. Also tried Rasant and like it very much also but a lot pricier than Essential. Love the prices at Connecting Thread. Thanks for the tip about free shipping. :)

Thank you for response and the info. I was unsure if you could piece with it, I am going to use that from now on. I need to buy some of the cones so it lasts longer. I am also placing another order for the new thread kits they just came out with. So that free shipping will come in handy. Thanks again, Erica

I buy the big cones in neutral colors for piecing. I like the thread. If your machine has enclosed threading it can build up lint with any cotton thread so be sure and have it cleaned often.
