Boy!!! This is a GRRRREAT idea!!!!!!!! I read the instructions and went right to Home Depot to buy the insulation. I was cheap though, I only bought 1 sheet of 1 inch and my hubby cut it into three pieces. I needed at least 3 inches to come up to the bed of my Bernina, but it is close enough for me. I just love having all that flat area around the machine. Thank you for posting this cool info. I used to live in Mesa, couldn''''t take the heat, traffic, and crime. I now live in the boonies in Ohio and love the peace and quiet.

Here are a couple sites that feathure this table. I know some of you can't watch You Tube.
The instructions for the table are:
Foam board insulation (get at Home Depot type stores) and vinyl (Wal-mart or Jo-Anns).
Measure the distance from your table to the top of the base of your sewing machine--the area where your feed dogs are. (embroiderer used a 1 inch thick piece), you can use any combination thickness of foam insulation board to make the correct distance. Cut the foam board to fit around your machine bed, cover with a piece of vinyl with an area cut out for your feed dogs. I think she said she tapes it down, but can't remember.
I hope the pictures in the following sites help.
