this will be a fun sew along...I wanted to pull from my stash and have a lot of fabric but I wanted this one to be bright and cheery... hopefully I accomplish that

I fixed the link for you this is a great deal! I have some of this line left over from the Victory Garden Swap (which I never finished because well..just because...) so I might use some of the fabric in this swap too. Great idea Chriss....

You gals are so bad...... I really can't get this right now, but I sure would love to have the book AND DVD. Maybe after DH gets back to work.... I was watching some of the episodes on RFD recently & I really like stars.

Sharon, we aren't bad we are resourseful (SP)hope you can join us... the videos for the blocks are on the website and maybe the book can be found less expensive through Amazon or one of those used book places.... not sure if JoAnn's has it but they have a 40% off coupon plus this weekend they have a coupon for 10% off your total purchase.. woo hoo...

Hi Sally,
No you haven't missed the sew along. It won't start taking sign ups until probably early July. WeSignificant has graciously agreed to host it. Start date will be early Aug, dates aren't absolutely set yet.
But, those of us in the UGRR Sew along have been chatting about the Starts Across America sew along for a bit now. And since the book is on sale for May, I posted that info.
Most of the chatting about it is in the latter pages of the UGRR sew along. And people are adding to this post as well, just to make sure it doesn't get lost. The UGRR one was so much fun. Now the last block has been posted, and we're working on finishing the quilt. Taking a little break for some other things, and then in August we'll all be ready for another Sew along. Hope you'll plan to join. When the signups start it will have it's own thread.
