My theme will be forest, meaning greens, browns, tree and pine cone blocks etc.

Quilter,
I have PM'd you about the swap. I would love to join in the fun, and only six blocks should be easy enough to come up with. I would like my blocks to be Christmas themed in traditional reds and greens with muslin background. With red and greem colors would prefer not to have religious theme. Red angels or green nativity don't sound like a good idea. LOL Thanks for hosting this swap!

I will join if there is room. Will get my colors, etc chosen later today after work. Running late this morning.

okay, count me in. Fall colors (rusts, browns, dark reds, muted orange, dark greens, leaves....) I'm thinking something I can use for table topper in the Fall, not just Thanksgiving or Halloween!
Sally

By the way--if one more wanted to join we could still make just 6 blocks (just not keep one!)In case I stepped on anyone still thinking about it!

I'm with SallyC -- no Halloween or Thanksgiving for my Fall theme. I am just thinking 'warm and cozy.'

I mentioned the red and greens, but I forgot to mention to do the background in muslin. Don't mind method used.
I was checking out the Quilters Cache for seven inch blocks, but most of those are paper pieced, so I will likely have to draft something for these, I love when a swap makes me stretch myself in ways I haven't done before.

I am going to go with the same theme as Donnacrazylady -"Fall" theme - browns and rust and cranberry and navy and forest green kinds of colors. I prefer the cream colored backgrounds.

Has anybody found another source for 7 inch blocks? When will we get addresses for mailing?

My theme will be florals..I'm especially fond of roses. Prefer creams, burgandys, pinks, greens. I'm not going for a holiday theme.

Oh maggie, I have the perfect fabric for yours. Now that I have thought again, we are choosing our own block pattern, right?
