---you will be making a sampler quilt, sending each block to a different partner
---every 2 weeks a new block will be posted, and you MUST make that block and send it to your partner by the end of the two weeks >>> You can send one block in a regular business sized envelope.

---everyone who signs up would send me their address, and I will make a master list for everyone so you will have all the addresses; every two weeks I would post a list of partners for the new block
---all the blocks will be EASY 12" pieced blocks (no applique)
---each person in the swap will post the 'focus color(s)' they would like to use for the quilt >>> Also list: White on white or cream? Any fabrics you want to avoid? (batiks, '30's, Civil War, neons, etc.)
I think I would like to call this a SEND ALONG, SEW ALONG quilt. When you make the block for your partner, you could also make one for yourself in your own colors. This would give you more blocks for your quilt.
I was thinking we would make 12 or 15 different blocks. Anyone who doesn't think they could keep up with the every-two-week-commitment could do just the 'sew along' part.
If you do sign up, it would be very important to keep up and make the blocks for your partners.
We could start as early as June 1, and be finished before Christmas. If we wait too long, we may have to take a break around Christmas-time, and finish in 2010. (Or do less blocks.)
So...... is there any interest in this kind of swap?
