Progress Report: I have been sewing blocks together this week. A couple of blocks took a detour in getting to my house so I am waiting for them to arrive. Meanwhile I have been sewing sashing on the other blocks. I cannot wait to post a picture of all the beautiful blocks and how they look in the quilt. It is really adorable!

I am almost finished sewing the quilt together. I will post when I finish and mail it on to "T" who will be doing the quilting. I hope to mail it tomorrow.

I finished the quilt and have mailed it to Tuljp/Susanna today. It is really cute and measured about 59 inches by about 72 inches. I did take a picture and will post when I get the okay. Thank you everyone for the beautiful blocks.

I have not received the quilt-top yet.
If I don't receive it by today we'll use the DC# to track it down.

Just a minor obstacle, I'll raise cane once more with our local PO if I don't receive this prescious quilt-top by today.

6/16/09 Up-Date

Received Top today. It'll come with me to QIAD tomorrow and Thursday.
Should be mailed off to the next stop latest next Tuesday.

Susanna, we're so sorry to hear you went to the hospital rather than to QIAD. Prayers that you are healing and back home very soon.

Ladies, in the meantime, could someone help out by quilting this quilt? It is about 60 x 72 inches. As you've read, dear Tulpje has received it and was planning to to quilt it. If you can help out, please pm me. The other part of this project is completed. Thanks bunches, hugs, carol/kityquilt
